Our matching-gift power2give campaign expires in just a few hours, so if you woke up this morning and your first thought was, “Man, I wish I’d had a chance to make that donation to Essential in all the year-end fuss,” you’re in luck!

Click here to make a donation today throughp2g_logo300and your dollars will go twice as far!

We’ve already raised quite a bit, and we’ve been blessed with so many talented artists and businesspeople who are willing to donate their talents to support our work. But if you’re interested in getting in on the fun, there’s still time. Donate before midnight and your donation is matched.

As for the goals we set out in our power2give campaign? Well, we are already working towards them all! We have already expanded our Bare Essentials programming by presenting free Bare Essentials readings in metroAtlanta outside of the month of the Festival: we had a reading in September and another in November, and we hope to have at least one more next year before we’re consumed with festival planning in the spring. In addition, we’re developing a program to bring Bare Essentials readings to communities outside of the metroAtlanta area, which we’ll be unveiling soon.

And in the next week or two, we will be reaching out to you again — for your thoughts this time, not your money! — as we begin collecting data and embarking on our strategic planning process.

We’re excited about the work ahead of us, and your support means more than we can say, both financially and otherwise.

If you’re looking for a just-past-the-last-minute donation to start your year off on the right foot, you’ve got till midnight to see your donation to us matched through power2give. If you’ve already given or extra cash is scarce at the moment, we still love you and appreciate your caring, so sign up for our newsletter to find out when we’ve got stuff going on!

Thanks and happy new year, from everyone at the Essential Theatre. We couldn’t do what we do without you, and we wouldn’t want to.

Happy 2016!!
