Essential Voices

A variation on Essential’s mission to give Georgia playwrights a voice, Essential Voices seeks to give Georgians a voice through theatre by working with communities to provide the support and tools they need to tell their own story on the stage.

BeltLine & Beyond (2017-2018)
Though not officially termed “Essential Voices” until the Spring of 2018, this line of programming really began with our collaboration with the Wren’s Nest in the fall of 2017. This program was made possible through funding from Art on the Atlanta BeltLine and Georgia Humanities and in-kind support from our community partners, the Wren’s Nest and Brown Middle School.
