Get a sneak peek of our upcoming 12th annual Essential Theatre Festival and meet some of our playwriting award winners. 

Just as each Essential Theatre Festival introduces new works by a Georgia playwright and other great new plays, this event will offer a variety of wines from Georgia wineries as well as interesting domestic wines provided by Ansley Wine Merchants. Enjoy Four Season's Sous Chef Robert Gerstenecker's tasty hor d'oeuvres as well as the jazz guitar sounds of Tom Godfrey. 

But that's not all we've got planned. In addition to the wine-tasting and silent auction, this event will include highlights of the playwriting-award winning play “Qualities of Starlight” by Gabriel Jason Dean and African-American Poet Laureate, Rita Dove's “Darker Face of the Earth.” The festival lineup also includes "Sally and Glenn at the Palace" by artistic director, Peter Hardy.
